In v8.0.26 and above the dropdown list attached to the + button to enter notes in Ensemble roll marking has changed. It's now a fixed non-editable list. It was thought it would be better if the list was a controlled by an administrator rather than have a whole lot of random entries created by teachers. At the moment it's now only editable by Alison ... but she'll try and change this so the administrators can modify it too. Also the + button to enter a note will now be shaded grey if a note has been entered for that particular week.
1. The Roll-marking screens (for online roll-marking) now also show Form next to each student's name. (If rolls are PRINTED from these screens however, only the Year Level is displayed, not the Form.)
2. Roll-marking screens - when you click the red "Sort Alphabetically" button it now changes to "Sort by Part" so users can toggle between the two sort orders. 3. The Ensemble Name and Dates now displays in the footer at the bottom of the screen, so that dates are still visible when user scrolls down to names lower on the list. When an ensemble is made "Inactive", you will now see a dialog box asking ifyou would like to clear the related Room Booking and delete any future calendar entries.
When you go to the Contacts file, List View will now sort automatically by Company Name then Last Name then First Name
In v 8.0.28 and above the date and time on the roll will not be updated every time someone goes to mark the roll. So if the date and time is changed after the roll has been set up, it won't flow through.
The date and time will still be looked up from Calendar Entries when the roll is first created. In v8.0.25 and above the view that you see when you click the Printer icon (the one that displays ALL calendar entries) on the Calendar entries tab in Contacts has changed. It now looks like the view you see when you click the preview timetable button to view their Tuition entries only. It shows both tuition and ensembles
In version 8.0.25 and above you can now enter one off calendar entries to the calendars of your staff. Go to the calendar tab of your staff member and click on green plus Select the date. Select the category from the drop down list
Enter start time and length. Finish time will automatically be filled in. Select Venue from the drop down list You can also add tasks to this entry. When you have finished click Save and Close. The entry will be added to the calendar of the staff member and the student (where applicable). In v 8.0.25 and above there are some changes to the Mark roll screen Ability to edit length of ensemble rehearsal for one week Similar to editing the length of a tuition lesson you can now click on the pencil next to the ensemble name on the tuition roll (this is for schools that have the ensemble link active in their settings) Fill in the box with the length in the THIS WEEK field and recalculate. Don’t forget to put in a reason in Notes otherwise you won’t be able to close the box. Cancel button If you accidentally click on the pencil open the change lesson length box you can now Cancel by clicking on the Cancel button. This is on both the tuition and ensemble change lesson length box. Emailing students from Tuition Roll
You can now email students directly from the Mark roll screen. You can email individual students by clicking on the envelope icon on the student’s row. To email the found set of students click on the two envelope icon at the top of the screen. There are three new videos posted showing your teachers how to
