In v 8.0.29 and above, the Ensemble Part drop-down list is displayed against all the names of current members You can now edit the Ensemble Part from here.
In v 8.0.29 and above, teachers (from their logons) will now be able to view Calendar Exclusions NEXT to the schedule on the Calendar entries tab, instead of having to click a separate tab. Teachers can also click and view any attachments.
In v 8.0.29 and above you can now attach a document to a date in Calendar exclusions. A lot of schools send around lists of students involved in particular excursions or activities. These documents can now be uploaded to Music Monitor. They can be viewed by the teachers on their screen.
In v 8.0.30 and above only users that are opening as the HOST will get asked to 'Check/Fix' or 'Bypass'. Note: This means for all schools using Filemaker Server, the Check/Fix script will need to be set up as a schedule on the server, otherwise the data won't ever be fixed!
In v 8.0.29 and above the 'Search screen' that you see when you click the 'Find Records' button on the Attendance Record screen (What Do You want To Do > Roll marking Tuition > Search for and view records) has been modified. It shows more fields now so users can search by for example, Ensemble Name, or Comments.
In v 8.0.29 and above the wording of the absentee letter has been modified - date of missed lesson and next lesson now print as Tuesday 22 November, 12:15pm (instead of Tuesday 22/11/2017, 12:15pm). i.e. uses full day and month name instead of date format.
In v 8.0.29 and above
1. Made slight changes to font sizes, colour, inserted 'placeholder text' to make it more obvious for teachers which fields they need to enter data in. 2. Also modified Attendance Code field so that it will ONLY accept values that have been set up in the Attendance Codes table (teachers were modifying and typing in their own codes!) In v 8.0.29 and above aCANCEL button has been added to the 'find' screen that Administrators see when they go to mark rolls. (Added it for the teachers previously, but forgot about the administrators!)
In v 8.0.28 and above you now need to manually delete subjects (if required) when you delete a contact.
It had recently been set it to delete related records in the Subjects table when a record in the Contacts table was deleted but it was too easy to delete ALL subjects when messing about with test records!! |
