In v8.0.76 and above there is now an option to email Rolls to the teachers from the Attendance Roll Marking page. Next to the teacher's name is a little envelope. Click this envelope and an email will be generated to the teacher and the roll attached.
Note: At this stage you can only email 1 teacher at a time. Just click on the envelope icon for the teacher. When it returns to the roll marking screen, click on the next teacher's envelope icon and so forth. Also note that if you had only selected 1 teacher's roll to view, after the script has created the pdf and email, it returns back to the roll marking view but will show all rolls for that week commencing. In v 8.0.76 and above there is a new option for the attendance rolls. This one shows lesson times directly from the calendar. And changes made here will go through to the calendar. To select this option go to File Preferences (Home > Scripts > Set file preferences). Select 'Calendar View' under the Attendance Roll options. There are a couple of limitations.
1. If extra lessons have been added to the calendar manually BEFORE the roll is set up (from using the green plus on the calendar tab), only ONE of the lessons will show initially. However, if an extra line is created by clicking the + at the far right of the row, the additional day and time should automatically show. If an extra lesson is created on the attendance roll screen however, it WILL add the lesson to the calendar for the student and teacher. 2. At this stage, only ONE extra lesson per week can be created on the roll. (Any additional lessons will just keep showing the second lesson day and time). If a second lesson is created it will appear orange, so it's easy to see. In v8.0.74 an above , when setting up Attendance Codes, the Comment Required radio button now shows values for Yes AND No. This will make it easier to deselect if you change your mind from Yes to No
In v 8.0.75 and above a new 'Change Password' button has been added to Home screens for teachers.
This allows teachers to change their passwords regularly. In v 8.0 71 and above a portal has been added to the Tuition Form View layout that displays calendar entries and total number of calendar entries for each student. Also a button has been added to the Accounts Checklist to Enter No. Lessons from Calendar Entries. and the No. Lessons RP field has also been added. Note: The portal shows ALL calendar entries whether past or future so if you are going to use the Enter No. Sessions button you must remember to archive the students calendar entries at the end of each term before billing for the next term.
For information on how to archive calendar entries go to the Music Monitor website User Community > Instruction Manual> Other Files > Calendar & Tasks In v 8.0.72 and above the Account Code has been added to the Journal Summary (prints next to Category)
In v 8.0.72 and above the search criteria used when setting up rolls for each week has been modified.
It finds all CURRENT (Tuition) or ACTIVE (Ensembles). It then OMITS any that have a START DATE greater than 7 days from today. .In v8.0.71 and above the 'Outstanding Instruments' printout has been modified so it displays Category 2 (i.e. Trumpet, Trombone, etc.) instead of Item (i.e. make/model).
This is accessed from Loans and Hire. Go to Scripts and Print List. In v 8.0.71 and above another template for the Exam Approval Letter has been added.
This one was requested by Wesley College and the text in the boxes on this one are editable. There are 3 text boxes that can be edited. Unlike the Geelong College letters, there is only ONE Exam Approval Letter if the Wesley preference is selected. Geelong College has one for exam entries WITH an accompanist and another for exam entries WITHOUT an accompanist. To use the Wesley College editable letter, set File Preferences (from the Home screen) to "Wesley College" under the Exam Approval Letters heading. If NO selection is made on this screen, it will default to the Geelong College template. |
