A new Ensemble FORM VIEW

Read Now

A brand new FORM VIEW in the Ensemble Codes file!  Here's what's different:
  • Enter a Pay Category against EACH Conductor/Tutor (so if Tutors are paid differently to Conductors, that's no longer a problem.)
  • Enter a number for the TOTAL MAXIMUM members.
  • Music Monitor will calculate the total number of CURRENTLY enrolled members and will alert you on this screen if the Ensemble/Class is FULL.
  • View all the current members on this screen.  Click the binoculars to edit their ensemble enrolment.  Click the Students symbol at the top right of the portal to go to the Students file to enrol new members.

To get to this screen, from the Home screen click Other, then Ensemble Codes.  Click the arrow at the left of any record.
But wait, there's more...!  If an Ensemble is FULL, you will be alerted when enrolling a new student.  You will see the word FULL at the end of the ensemble name in the drop-down list.  (Please note however that you will be ALERTED, but you won't be PREVENTED from enrolling a student in this ensemble.)

These new features are available in V7.18.4.

Import ADDITIONAL Contacts for your students

Read Now

Split families and/or additional contact details for students have long been a concern for users of Music Monitor.  For several years now it has been possible to record details of additional contacts in the 'Mail Alert' table, but this has relied on manual data entry.

For schools that import student details from the school database, I have now built in a process to import ADDITIONAL CONTACTS automatically.

You will need a separate spreadsheet listing all the additional contacts.  As with your regular spreadsheet you will need to rename the column headings and make sure the sheet is named 'Sheet1'.  Save it as 'Additional Contacts' in your Student Records to Import folder and when you click the 'Import Student Details' button, all the additional contacts will be imported/updated at the same time.

You will need Version 7.18.3 or later to use this function.
