In v8.0.91 and above there is a new button on Week View (email icon in front of group of people) - Email Weekly Timetable to ALL Teachers. Clicking this button will find all current staff in the Contacts file, then find their timetable for the selected week and save it as a pdf and attach to an email.
This timetable shows ALL entries (i.e. tuition, ensembles, scheduled breaks, meetings, etc.) Emails are sent WITH dialog. In v 8.0.91 and abovetThe pencil to modify the lesson length for one week only is now stricter. For teachers the new lesson length MUST be selected from the dropdown list of values. Other values will no longer be accepted. (Prevents teachers from entering say 35:00 for a 30:00 min lesson.) Administrators can still modify this list to display only values that they consider acceptable.
In v8.0.91 and above the Email buttons on timetables now have either the Student or Contacts icon behind them so it's more obvious which one sends the timetable to teachers and which sends the lesson times to students
In v 8.0.91 and above the Calendar exclusion field can now be entered, so you can see text that goes beyond the field Click into the calendar exclusion field You can then view the entire exclusion
In v8.0.86 and above Notes entered in Tuition Form View are now highlighted yellow (to stand out a bit more)
There have been a few minor changes to the students file 1. In v 8.0.86 and above the Notes tab will now be highlighted if any Notes have been entered on the Students Form view 2. the Sibling Tag field has been removed. 3. In v8.0.88 and above colour coding has been added to the Calendar Entries tab to indicate clashes. (Only on Schools Form View so far, still need to add to Conservatoriums and Denbigh). 4. When emailing the Weekly Schedule or Term Schedule, ensembles will now be included. 5. 'Enrolment Type' has been added to the Statistics screen
In v 8.0.86 and above there is a new field: Medical notes. (Conservatoriums only.) It is now possible to differentiate between 'Special Needs' and 'Medical Notes'. 'Special Needs' are reported on for DOE funding, but medical notes not necessarily. Specific information on the medical alert can be entered in this field In v8.0.90 and above, if a student is tagged with a Medical/Other Alert, a question-mark will appear on the roll to the left of their name. If the teacher clicks this question mark, details of the medical alert will be displayed in a custom dialog box.
In v8.0.85 and above a 'Date Paid' field has been added to the Invoices - Advanced Search Screen. This means you can now do searches for example, for invoices that are overdue by more than 7 days and haven't had a payment applied in the last month. This will excludes account holders that may be on a payment plan and are making regular payments.
In v8.0.86 and above Excursions/Camps are now linked to Calendar.
When an Excursion Code is set up (by clicking the pencil on the excursions tab in students), it will copy information through to the calendar. It is viewable on the main calendar Only minimal information is copied across, only copying the name of the excursion and the date. At this stage there is no time or staff details copied across. In v 8.0.85 and above there is a new field in ensembles/classes - Minimum Members. A number can be entered in this field to determine the minimum size for an ensemble. Ensembles with a number in this field will have a "PENDING" Status until the minimum number is reached. (The Status field refreshes every night, so it may not update immediately. However, I've added a 'refresh' button to the Status field label which can be clicked to refresh immediately.) Pending ensembles will still show in the dropdown list of ensembles when enrolling students. Pending ensembles are shaded ORANGE on the Ensembles List view and Form view. Ensemble ENROLMENTS are also shaded ORANGE in the Ensemble Enrolments file on the List View and the Accounts Checklist (to avoid billing students that are enrolled in an ensemble that isn't running yet).
