In v 8.0.10 and above student with a termination date will have grey text. If the booking is not in the calendar it will also be shaded yellow If the booking is in the calendar the text will be greyed
In v8.0.10 an above a new warning has been added when emailing student schedules.
If there are more than 10 records in the found set, you will be advised that they're about to generate a whole bunch of emails, and given the opportunity to cancel or continue. In v 8.0.10 and above there is a new script - Timetables by Class/Form
It can be run from What Do You Want To Do > Timetables > View timetables by Class/Form. Sorts records by class so lesson times can be distributed to classroom teachers. Also added buttons to 'Sort by Class' on Teacher Timetable and Student Timetable screens. New in v 8.0.10 in Calendar is a script to set up term and week days for the year. You can enter School Term and School Week Name in the appropriate columns. The date, day, month and year are not editable You can enter the Term name and Week Name if required for every date in the calendar year. This will then be searchable in Calendar Entries (eg. can search for Term 2 timetable instead of having to search for a date range.) Script can be accessed from What Do You Want To Do > Timetables OR What Do You Want To Do > Beginning of Year OR the scripts menu in the Calendar file.
In version 8.0.10 and above the old Timetables category has been removed and has been replaced by the new version that is linked to the new calendar and room management system. More tasks have been added.
In version 8.0.10 and above there has been some changes to the Other screen and the File Map..
The Calendar, Resources and Room Management buttons on have been changed to light green. The Timetabling button has been changed to grey (and a tooltip has been created saying this button will be disappearing from future versions). In version 8.0.08 and above you can now add an attachment to notes on the Notes tab in the Students file Attach letters, reports, or any other files to Notes by clicking this button. Navigate to saved pdf (or whatever) and double-click to insert.
To view after saving, the field contents will need to be exported and then opened. Click the attachment and in the next window, specify a filepath and a name. Don't forget to tick the box 'After saving: Automatically open file'. The file will be automatically opened using the program that created it. In version 8.0.08 and above you can now send a group of students to the performance file. Go to your Students File and perform a find for the group of students you wish to send. Go to Scripts and select Send to Performance File A reminder comes up that you are sending this group of students to the Performance file. Click Continue Enter in the details of the performance and continue. The students now have that information entered on their performance tab
