In v 8.0.59 and above The Clear All Time slots script is also available in End of Year Procedures to clear Time slots for ALL teachers
It allows you to click through each teacher and cancel for some and clear for others. I've also added an explanation (question mark) to this script. In 8.0.57 and above there are two new fields on Ensembles/Classes Form View - Finish Date and Ensemble Size. Ensemble Size can be useful for conservatoriums and reporting.
In 8.0.57 and above Debtor Name and Debtor ID have been added to the search screen for finding and viewing records. A couple of things to note:- it will only find the primary debtor. If additional debtors have been added, this search won't work for them.
- don't forget that Debtor ID is a TEXT field. So if searching for Debtor ID number 1, for example, you need to enter == in front of the 1 or it will find 10, 100, etc. In v 8.0.52 and above there are 3 new reports in Tuition. 1. Tuition Review - finds all current and external students, as well as any archived students that are currently in ensembles. Displays the records as a list that can be saved as excel. Sorts by Category, Subject, then Yr Level. Useful for instrumental coordinators to review programs for the following year. 2. Teacher Review - finds all current and external students and sorts by teacher. Displays the records as a list that can be saved as excel. Shows ensemble information and exam information for the current year.Reports can be produced from the Scripts menu in Tuition or What Do You Want To Do > Quick Reports. 3. Tuition Termination Report. Finds all records with a termination date (or search criteria can be modified) and summarises by Teacher and/or Reason. Also displays student name, subject, date of enrolment, termination date, no. of years learning, and total number of students. Script can be run from What Do You Want To Do > Quick Reports or Printouts ![]() Enter the reason on the Tuition form view when you enter a termination date. Select from the drop down list or type in a new reason. This will then be available on the drop down.
In v 8.0.54 and above there is a new field: Medical Alert. It is visible on 'Personal Details' screen (schools). Schools can import the word 'Medical Alert' from Synergetic database. If there is ANYTHING in that field, the student name will display red and bold on Students Form View, Students List View, and online Attendance Roll and Ensemble Roll. Haven't put on Conservatoriums screen yet.
1. In v 8.0.52 there is a new custom Rental Agreement form for Lake Joondalup Baptist College.
This has been added as an option on the File Preferences screen so other schools can use as well. 2. v 8.0.53 and above there is a new script: Archive found set. Perform a find. Run the script from the Scripts menu in the Loans & Hire file. The script enters today's date in the 'Date Returned' field for the found set of records. In v 8.0.53 and above a new relationship between the Ensembles file and Excursions file has been created. This means you can now add Excursion Name to a table view in the Ensembles file and search for and print lists of students in a particular ensemble that will be attending a particular excursion eg Music Camp. In Ensemble/Class enrolments switch to table view and click modify and click on the green plus. Navigate to the Excursions table and select the fields you want displayed. Click OK Excursion data can now be viewed in the table. You can now perform your finds
In v 8.0.53 and above, in Ensemble enrolments, there is a new script: Send found set to Loans & Hire. Select from Scripts menu in the Ensemble/Class Enrolments file. The script makes it easier to allocate generic instruments (eg. 'Trumpet') to a whole group of students all at the one time, particularly if the school has, for example, a Yr 7 Band Program. Obviously if a particular reference number needs to be entered for each record, this will need to be done separately after records have been created. The script uses the ensemble part to allocate instruments. If you wish to allocate the same instrument then type it on the screen to enter loans and hire information. Similarly, in Tuition enrolments, there is a new script: Send found set to Loans & Hire. Select from Scripts menu in the Tuition file.
The script again makes it easier to allocate generic instruments (eg. 'Trumpet') to a whole group of students all at the one time. (Obviously if a particular reference number needs to be entered for each record, this will need to be done separately after records have been created.) In v 8.0.53 and above the the scripts menu in Ensemble/Classes Enrolments and Tuition Enrolments has been tidied up.
New folders have been created Actions, Printouts in Ensemble/Enrolments Actions, Printouts,Reports in Tuition Enrolments. The Timetabling folder in Tuition has been deleted (as this referred to the old system of timetabling. They are still available on the old Timetabling Menu screen) The main scripts have been put in these folders. Hopefully they're a bit easier to find. In v 8.0.53 and above there is a new script in Scripts menu in the Ensemble/Class Enrolments file Send found set to Tuition. It makes it easier to enrol a whole group of students all at the one time, particularly if the school has, for example, a Yr 7 Band Program. Find your ensemble enrolments go to Scripts > Actions and select Send Found set to Tuition Enter Lesson type Each student's Ensemble part will automatically enter as default subject. The first student's part will be viewable. Press continue if you want the students enrolled in the subject of their ensemble part. If you want all the students to be learning the same subject then enter it in the subject field and press continue If they are learning from the same teacher then enter the teacher's name. Otherwise leave blank Once the tuition record is created you will need to select a teacher if no teacher has been selected. The record will remain pending until a teacher is assigned.
