Subtotals and totals to Staff Numbers and Participant Numbers columns have also been added on the Statistics page.
In v 8.0.30 and above when you add in a new workshop it automatically adds it to the calendar.
If you can’t see it straight away click on the Refresh button at the bottom of the page.
If you want to add staff and participant numbers to the workshop (for your stats) click on the binoculars and add the numbers to the right of the line
One of our Melbourne schools phoned the other day and needed some help producing a report showing all music tuition enrolments and how many years they have been learning. Because they have the multi-user version of Music Monitor, I was able to make some changes straight away for them.
Firstly, I added a new field called 'No. Years'. This field calculates the number of years a student has been learning an instrument by subtracting the enrolment year from the the current year. It also shows how many years a student DID learn, if the record has been archived. (It calculates YEARS only, so if a student enrolled THIS year, the number displayed in this field will be '0'... until NEXT year when it will show '1'.)
Then I created a new layout showing teacher name, enrolment date, termination date, subject, student name, current year level (will be empty if the student has left the school), and number of years learning.
Then I created a script to run this report from the 'What Do You Want To Do?' area, in the 'Quick Reports' category. As with most other printouts, a default find request has been set up, but the script pauses and you can change it. The report sorts by teacher name, then subject, then number of years learning, then student name (but you can change the sort order by cancelling the preview and re-sorting.)
We did all this in just over an hour and the Director of Music was very happy!
Here's what the report looks like:
The report is available in V7.17.5.
If you use the Roll-Marking screens in Music Monitor, you can now very quickly and easily produce Tuition and Ensemble/Class enrolment reports for a particular Term and Year. These reports display NUMBER and TYPE of enrolments, TOTAL BILLABLE AMOUNT and HOURS (for Tuition only at this stage). You will need V7.17.2 to produce these reports.
To run the reports, go to the What Do You Want To Do? screen and select Statistics from the left-hand side.
Select the required report from the right-hand side then follow the prompts. The Tuition report looks like this:
The Ensemble report looks like this:
