In v 8.0.98 and above there is a new report - Child Minding Report. This is a very specific report, created for Wollongong Conservatorium. It relies on data being entered in Spare Field 2 and Spare Field 6 on the Spare field tabs in Students The childcare session DAY is entered in Spare Field 2 and the session TIME is entered in Spare Field 6. The report lists the child, age (in years and months), primary contact name, mobile and email. The children are grouped by session day and time. The report can be run from What Do You Want To Do > Printouts > Students > Child Minding Report. Click on the question mark to view Help notes and a sample printout is also available
In v8.0.98 and above the Gender value list has changed it so it's now populated by values in the field, so you can modify it to include values other than M and F.
In V8.0.94 and above the change of teacher on the Tuition tab in Students is now FIXED! You no longer have to select the teacher twice. It now only has to be selected once.
AND the problem of two teachers of the same subject having the same surname has also been solved! The dropdown list now shows the FULL name of the teacher when entering a tuition enrolment. In v8.0.92 and above Calendar entries on tha Calendar tab in Student's Form view now display for the CURRENT week (and future entries) not the past 7 days. Also there is more room for Description on this view.
There have been a few minor changes to the students file 1. In v 8.0.86 and above the Notes tab will now be highlighted if any Notes have been entered on the Students Form view 2. the Sibling Tag field has been removed. 3. In v8.0.88 and above colour coding has been added to the Calendar Entries tab to indicate clashes. (Only on Schools Form View so far, still need to add to Conservatoriums and Denbigh). 4. When emailing the Weekly Schedule or Term Schedule, ensembles will now be included. 5. 'Enrolment Type' has been added to the Statistics screen
In v 8.0.86 and above there is a new field: Medical notes. (Conservatoriums only.) It is now possible to differentiate between 'Special Needs' and 'Medical Notes'. 'Special Needs' are reported on for DOE funding, but medical notes not necessarily. Specific information on the medical alert can be entered in this field In v8.0.90 and above, if a student is tagged with a Medical/Other Alert, a question-mark will appear on the roll to the left of their name. If the teacher clicks this question mark, details of the medical alert will be displayed in a custom dialog box.
In v8.0.77 and above there is a new Copy Paste Email script in Ensembles. It is an alternative to the 'Send Email to Found Set' button (same as in the Students file). It is particularly useful for schools using gmail or other cloud email applications. (Or if their email settings are funny and limit the number of recipient addresses or do other strange things!) You can access the script from the Ensemble enrolments file. Find your group of students. Got to Scripts > Actions > Copy Paste email You can also access it on the ensemble roll-marking screen, top right-hand corner, underneath the 'Send Email' envelopes.
It will always display the email addresses for the FOUND SET of records. In v8.0.76 and above the scripts for emailing Term & Weekly Schedules have been modified.
They will now be sent TO the PRIMARY parent contact and CC'D to the student. (Previously they were sent TO the student and CC'D to ALL parent contacts.) In v 8.0.76 and above, when clicking the 'x' to delete an Ensemble calendar entry on the calendar in Students, you will now get a pop-up message advising that deleting this calendar entry will delete the entry for ALL STUDENTS enrolled in that ensemble and ALL STAFF connected with that ensemble. You will have option to continue or cancel.
You will also get this message if deleting calendar entries on the ensemble form view for that student. In v8.0.76 and above the 'Week Name' is now visible on the Attendance tab in the form view of students.
