Teacher Change Password File Preference

In v8.0.78 and above there is now a new option in the File Preferences screen. Administrators can enter a date to force teachers to change their password, particularly useful/important after they've had an update of the files and all passwords have reverted back to be the same as the account name. (It can also be left blank.)

​A 'Password Change' date field has also been created in the Contacts file on the Other tab. 

​When a teacher logs in, the system will check to see whether the 'Password Change' date in their file is an earlier date than the Password Change date in the File Preferences. If so, they will be forced to change their password.
