Cloud Hosting
Outsource the management of your server and software updates and take advantage of our cloud hosting package. With this option, we provide a server for Music Monitor and maintain it in full. All management of the server machine and FileMaker Server is covered by us.
Technical details
You will get a dedicated Linux server hosted in Australia, an SSL certificate, offsite backups, 24/7 monitoring, 50GB disk space, 4 GB of RAM, and unlimited data throughput.
Access
Music Administrators can continue to access Music Monitor using FileMaker Pro. Optionally, Music Tutors can access Music Monitor in a browser, but the option to limit them to access with FileMaker Pro or FileMaker Go is also available.
Setup Time
In most cases we are able to switch you to our cloud hosting within a week, but we can also schedule the switch for a time that suits you!
Security
We use a mix of data centre providers for both hosting and database backups, depending on your requirements and resource availability. All the servers are physically located in Australia and your data never leaves the country.
All providers have at least ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (Information Security Management System) and SOC 2 Type 2 (security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy) certification. All FileMaker servers are set up with 2048-bit TLS certificates so that data can only be accessed using encrypted communications.
All Ubuntu Linux servers are LTS only and are patched regularly.
All access is via SSH with public/private key only and password access is disabled.
Backups are created daily and encrypted with AES-256 before uploading to data center storage.
On request data files can be set to be Encrypted At Rest (EAR) with AES-256 encryption, which is deemed Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) compatible.
